Location: Thessaloniki, Greece
Eligibility requirement: Must be 18 years old or over and preferably with least one year of undergraduate study completed, with a relevant scientific major such as biology, chemistry, computer sciences, mathematics etc. Interns must have a genuine interest in bio-engineering and commitment to hands-on & observation of both practical and theoretical topics.

Bioengineering Internship

This is an in-country hands-on program with provided shared housing and local team support.

Develop advanced laboratory skills and gain hands-on exposure to cutting-edge molecular biology techniques by interning with experienced researchers at the International Hellenic University in Greece. This internship offers biology and bioengineering students a unique opportunity to work in professional labs specializing in agrobiotechnology and food genetic analysis.

Interns will engage in various laboratory tasks, working with advanced methodologies in molecular biology and bioengineering. The internship focuses on laboratory work, including sample preparation, DNA extraction, PCR analysis, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) techniques. Some office-based tasks, such as data processing and software use for DNA sequence analysis, may also be included.
