Cerca Abroad offers flexible, diverse and affordable experiential programs for faculty led study abroad groups. Our vibrant & culturally rich location, long-term experience in hosting groups & individuals and diverse business network allows us to offer faculty leaders and their students with a broad range of services fully customized to suite their needs and interests.
What we offer
We work alongside faculty and administrators across colleges/universities from around the world to offer short-term study abroad programs, ranging from 1 to 12 weeks, throughout the year. These programs are designed to suite both inexperienced and experienced travelers who seek to immerse themselves in a new culture, learn and enjoy their time abroad.
- Activities: A range of 16 Internship & volunteering programs coupled with touristic, cultural & historic excursions
- Bespoke solutions: Tailor-made services, programs and activities to create and experience that suits the interests and needs of students & faculty
- Housing: Fully furnished, same gendered shared apartments or hostels
- In-country team: Our staff can accompany the group if needed, are all English speakers and are available 24/7 to provide emergency support
- Mobility: Fleet of new private-owned vehicles (cars, minibus, buses) for safe and comfortable transportation
- Risk & Safety: All external providers undergo regular inspection and we undergo an annual risk assessment on all services
- Support: Our program managers are in constant contact with students & faculty before and during their experience abroad to cater any need
Location
As for Greece, perhaps there is no need for an introduction. It is one of the most popular and safest destinations in the world. Situated in southeast Europe it is blessed with sun, friendly people, rich cuisine and a truly unique landscape that spans from green forests to the deep blue sea. With its 2,500 years of history and its 1,400 islands there is plenty to discover in Greece and it will satisfy the most demanding visitor.

In May 2023, through our partner network, we hosted 20 students and 2 academics from NMU on a diverse and fully customized experiential program that included 5 different activities and 4 excursions across the country, over a 2 week period. We had an absolutely wonderful experience traveling to Greece with Cerca Abroad. Our local guides Dennis and George could not have been more amazing. Even before we arrived they helped us with the planning process, answering questions and making arrangements. From the minute we landed in Athens, we were taken care of. They were so thoughtful, professional and competent…and fun and easy going!
